Stonehenge is one of the most famous tourist sites in the world. It is a pre-historic stone circle dating back around 5000 years.

There are stone circles and then there is Castlerigg stone circle near Keswick in Cumbria. It is made up of 38 stones and it is thought to be 4500 years old.
